Germany is ready to take deserters from Russia and Putin’s regime opponents, according to Interior Minister Nancy Faeser, APA reports.
“As a rule, deserters threatened by severe repression will receive international protection in Germany,” Faeser said in an interview with the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung.
Amid partial mobilisation in Russia, announced by Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, protests against have arisen.
