New law provides equal opportunities for military fathers and mothers in raising children

Ukrainian parliament voted for the law, which aims to ensure equal opportunities for mothers and fathers who are military servicemen to care for their children during special or wartime period.

It also aims to create prerequisites to strengthen father’s role in raising children, the law text states.
