Russian President, Vladimir Putin, has signed an amendment to the federal law ‘On meetings, rallies, demonstrations, marches and pickets.’

In accordance with amendments made to Article 9 of the law, “a public event cannot begin before 7:00 and end after 22:00 of the planned day, local time.”

An exception is made for public events dedicated to Russian memorial celebrations and commemorations, and public cultural events.
