Two servicemen were killed by the militants at the ATO’s foothold in Donbas

Two servicemen were mortally wounded as the militants shelled the ATO's foothold in Donbas,    which ensured protection of the border. This was stated by the ATO press-secretary,  Vladyslav Selezniov, on his personal Facebook page.

"Two Ukrainian servicemen were mortally wounded, three were injured and a combat  vehicle of the infantry was damaged, as a result of the mortar shelling and firing of the  anti- tank missiles (ATMs). Currently the servicemen are at a medical institution where  they are given appropriate first aid," stated Selezviov.

The militants also shelled the positions of the ATO forces under Sloviansk by using small  arms, automatic grenade launchers AGS-17 and mortars. There are no losses amongst the  Ukrainian servicemen.

We would like to remind you that earlier on, the militants and Russian mercenaries of "Donetsk People's Republic" shot down the MI-8 helicopter from a MANPAD, with nine Ukrainian servicemen on board. According to the preliminary information all of them have perished.
