On the South-Slobozyansk direction, Ukrainian drones have destroyed a Russian “underground city”. The operation was carried out by operators from the Hart brigade who destroyed a fortified strongpoint along with its network of bunkers and shelters, according to the State Border Guard Service.
Drone strikes leave no refuge
Recently, Russian forces have constructed a full-fledged fortified area in this sector of the Kharkiv front, an intricate network of bunkers and connecting trenches designed for prolonged defense.
Russian forces sought to conceal themselves underground from Ukrainian attacks and maintain control over access to their positions.
But, Ukraine's Vampire bomber drone destroyed bunker by bunker, shelter by shelter, forcing Russian units to retreat deeper into their lines.
The operation was led by a soldier with the callsign Somali, commander of the Rover unit, who rose from an infantry soldier to head one of the most effective bomber drone crews.
