Three more children were successfully returned to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson and Russia, following the plan outlined in President Zelensky’s initiative “Bring Kids Back UA,” facilitated by the state of Qatar, with the involvement of civil organizations and international partners, according to information provided by ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets on Telegram.
The efforts include a boy born in 2008 and a girl born in 2011 from Kherson, along with a brother and sister now reunited with their mother. The third boy, born in 2011, has been reunited with his mother in Georgia with the assistance of the Ombudsman’s Office, as he sought to return to Ukraine from Russia after his father took him without permission.
Lubinets expressed gratitude to everyone contributing to this effort and affirmed the commitment to fight for the return of every Ukrainian child. Each return represents a unique story and a special operation conducted by dedicated individuals working towards the goal of bringing all Ukrainian children back to their homeland.
