A coordinated multi-stage special operation in the Zaporizhzhia direction has destroyed a Russian S-300V air defense system, a drone command post, and an electronic warfare complex, Lasar's Group reports.
The operation involved Lasar's Group, Ukraine's Air Force, and the 15th Separate Brigade of Artillery Reconnaissance "Black Forest". According to the unit's Facebook post, the strikes were sequenced across several phases, with each targeting a distinct enemy asset.
Electronic warfare first
The opening phase targeted Russian electronic warfare infrastructure. Lasar's Group drones struck and destroyed a Russian "Palantyn" EW complex, according to the announcement. The elimination of the jamming system was a prerequisite for the subsequent air defense suppression phase.
Hunting the S-300
Aerial reconnaissance from the 15th Brigade then located Russian S-300V positions. Lasar's Group, operating with Air Force analytical support, conducted what the unit described as a "hunt" for the air defense systems. Strikes followed on both the S-300V launch unit and its multifunction missile guidance radar station.
"Завдяки спільним аналітичним діям було встановлено місце розташування систем ППО росіян," the unit reported — the systems' positions were identified through joint analytical work before the strikes were carried out.Air Force strikes the drone command post
With the S-300V suppressed, Ukraine's Air Force Combined Command Post (ОКП) used the cleared airspace to strike a Russian drone control center, according to Lasar's Group. The unit stated the S-300 systems "were interfering with Ukrainian aviation's operations" prior to their destruction.
Pipeline strike in Volgograd Oblast
Separately, Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Volgograd–Tikhoretsk trunk oil pipeline overnight, according to the report. The pipeline is described as a key artery supplying diesel to southern Russia.
Volgograd Oblast Governor Andrei Bocharov confirmed the attack, reporting a fire at a petroleum products reservoir in the Svetloyarsky district. The affected facility is the main pumping station "Tinguta." Confirmation from Ukraine's General Staff is pending.
