A Russian FPV drone struck a city bus in the centre of Nikopol on the morning of 7 April, killing three people and wounding twelve, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration (OVA) head Oleksandr Hanzha reports on Telegram.
"Three people were killed, another 12 were injured. The enemy attacked a city bus with an FPV drone in the very centre of Nikopol," Hanzha wrote.
The bus was pulling up to a stop at the time of the strike, so casualties were taken both inside the vehicle and on the platform. "This was not a random strike. This is deliberate terror against civilians. Against people who were simply going about their business," the OVA head stated.

Separately, an 11-year-old boy was killed and five adults injured in Russian drone strikes across Dnipropetrovshchyna on 7 April, also according to Hanzha. "More than 10 times the enemy attacked four districts of the oblast with UAVs," he reported.

Infrastructure was struck in Apostolove in Kryvorizky district. 110 drones launched overnight; 77 downed
During the night of 6–7 April, Russian forces launched 110 strike UAVs — Shaheds, Herbers, Italmas, and other types, with roughly 70 being Shaheds — the Ukrainian Air Force reports. By 08:00, air defences had downed or suppressed 77 enemy UAVs over the north, south, and east of the country. Direct hits from 31 UAVs were recorded at 14 locations; debris from downed drones fell at nine more. The Air Force, missile defence units, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups all took part in repelling the attack. As of the time of reporting, the assault was continuing, with enemy UAVs still active in Ukrainian airspace.
