According to three informed European officials, the US State Department has informed allies that ammunition deliveries, particularly interceptors for Patriot systems, could be disrupted.
G7 meeting in Paris: Rubio to warn on supply risks
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio plans to discuss this with allies during the G7 foreign ministers’ meeting in Paris, the journalists say.
The warning comes amid concerns from European and Asian countries that the US may redirect weapons that allies have already paid for to replenish depleted stocks.

Some allies have received assurances that shipments under the PURL initiative will not be redirected, but officials stressed, “That, of course, doesn’t say anything about the future.”
Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Heorhiy Tykhyi has noted that Secretary Rubio did not inform Ukraine’s Foreign Minister, Andrii Sybiha, of potential supply disruptions.
Other European officials were reassured, as immediate delays are not expected, especially after White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt stated that US forces are “very close” to achieving their objectives in Iran.
The Pentagon declined to provide specific details.
