Frankfurt will mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion with a solidarity rally for Ukraine. On 24 February 2026, Ukrainian and German activists will gather in the center of the city to show support for Ukraine and honor those who were killed by Russia's war.
According to Amal Frankfurt Ukraine on Facebook, the rally will take place at 18:00 at Römerberg Square.
Rally program: speeches, flash mobs, and performances
Hesse Interior Minister Roman Posek, Frankfurt Deputy Mayor Nargess Eskandari-Grünberg, Hesse government commissioner for combating antisemitism Uwe Becker, Ukrainian Consul Taras Zholubak, and head of the Ukrainian Coordination Center in Frankfurt Victoria von Rosen will also take part in the event.
The program will feature a collective prayer for Ukraine, a flash mob, and performances by dance and vocal ensembles.
Participation of parties and NGOs: broad support from the Ukrainian community
Representatives of various political parties and civil organizations will join the rally. The event is organized by the Ukrainian Coordination Center Frankfurt in partnership with multiple German-Ukrainian volunteer initiatives, demonstrating solidarity and support for Ukraine in Europe.
