From now on, information from various units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces regarding electronic warfare (EW) assets has been consolidated into a single digital system — the Logistics Management System (ULZ). It is built on the SAP platform, a tool for managing defense resources used by over 90% of NATO armies, the Defense Ministry reports.
It has been deployed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine together with the Commands of the Defense Forces.
Transparency and speed: how the new system works
The ULZ provides real-time visibility of:
- Available equipment and its operational status;
- Movement of EW assets from request submission to delivery within units;
- Equipment requiring maintenance or repair.
Over 200 military units and command authorities can now receive electronic warfare tools faster, while bureaucracy is significantly reduced. Units can submit requests without unnecessary steps or duplication, and command structures can see the full supply chain.
Plans for 2026: more units connected
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine announced that in 2026, deployment of ULZ workstations for electronic warfare will continue across military units.
This will allow even more units to operate within a single digital system, enabling them to receive necessary equipment faster, thereby increasing combat readiness and improving effectiveness against electronic threats.
