New satellite imagery has revealed structural damage at Russia's Afipsky oil refinery following a Ukrainian drone attack on the night of 30 November, OSINT analyst Brady Africk reported.
The images show burned areas and explosion traces within the facility's production perimeter, with Africk pointing to significant structural damage in specific technological zones of the plant.
Located in Krasnodar Krai, the Afipsky refinery ranks among Russia's major oil processing facilities, with a capacity exceeding 6 million tons per year. The plant produces gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel—the latter actively used by Russian military forces, according to the Ukrainian General Staff.
The strike represents one of the deepest hits on Russian territory in recent weeks, according to Ukrainian military officials, demonstrating the ability of Ukrainian drones to operate at extended range while delivering precise strikes on critical infrastructure.
The attack fits into Ukraine's broader campaign targeting oil refineries, fuel depots, and other facilities that supply Russian forces. The strategy aims to disrupt both Russia's economy and its military logistics.
This marks the second confirmed strike on the Afipsky refinery in recent months—satellite imagery previously documented fire damage following a drone attack on 26 September 2025.
