Russian forces shelled Kramatorsk: 16-year-old girl in serious condition, five wounded

As a result of the shelling of Kramatorsk on 22 September, 5 people were wounded, including a 16-year-old girl who is in serious condition.

The attack underscores the continued intensity of the war and the devastating impact of indiscriminate attacks on populated areas, and the urgent need for civilian protection in the ongoing war.

As reported by Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Oblast Military District Administration on Telegram, the attack also resulted in damaging four houses and two cars.

''Five people were wounded in the shelling of Kramatorsk (...) among the wounded is a 16-year-old girl who is in serious condition,'' Filashkin said.

Later, the Donetsk Oblast prosecutor's office clarified that Russian Armed Forces allegedly struck Kramatorsk with a Tornado-S MLRS (multiple rocket launcher). A residential building was in the epicenter of the explosion.

Five local residents sustained injuries of varying severity: a 16-year-old girl, three men aged 22, 47 and 75, and a 74-year-old pensioner. They were outside at the time of the attack. The victims were diagnosed with cut wounds and shrapnel wounds.
