Groups of students from universities around Georgia have have boycotted classes in protest of the foreign agent bill, with the University of Georgia suspending studies for a week, OC media reported. In Tbilisi, large numbers of students from all major universities are holding protest marches; some of them have already joined protesters outside the parliament. The legal committee's approval comes on the heels of record protests against the adoption of the law.After the night protest in front of parliament in Tbilisi, Georgian police dispersed and arrested protesters as the legal committee paved the way for adoption of a Russian-style "foreign agents" law.
