A Trump campaign adviser slammed the Washington Post report as “fake news,” insisting that his boss will not settle on a peace plan until he is in office and can properly weigh all the options.

Trump’s advisor slams news about a plan to force Ukraine to surrender territories as “fake”

The advisor at Trump’s pre-election campaign, Jason Miller, told The New York Post that the report about the leading Republican presidential candidate’s plan to end the Russian war against Ukraine is fake news.

The whole thing is fake news from the Washington Post. They’re just making it up. President Trump is the only one talking about stopping the killing. Joe Biden is talking about more killing,” he said.

The Washington Post’s report published on 7 April 2024 claimed Trump had a plan that revolved around pressuring Ukraine to give up Crimea and Donbas regions to the invading Russian forces. According to the report citing anonymous sources, former President Donald Trump, if elected, intends to push Ukraine to surrender regions to Russia to end the war.

Zelenskyy reiterated that Ukraine would not cede any territory to Russia from its 1991 borders.
