The National Agency on Corruption Prevention has included over 30 companies in the list of international sponsors of the war since the February full-scale attack on Ukraine, the head of the agency, Oleksandr Novikov, announced at a briefing in Zhytomyr, Ukrinform has reported.
“Over 30 international companies have been included in a register of the sponsors of the war. It is the only tool available for Ukraine as a state and for all of us as citizens to influence transnational corporations,” he noted.
Novikov added that after being included in this list, companies are ceasing cooperation with Russia and withdrawing from its market, for instance as the British company Mondi, three Greek oil transportation companies, and the Irish Peninsula Petroleum.
Earlier, US analysts said that more than a fifth of Russia’s liquefied natural gas reaching Europe is reshipped to other parts of the world, including China, Japan, and Bangladesh in practice that helps to boost Moscow’s revenues despite the EU’s efforts to decrease them in response to the war in Ukraine.
