EuromaidanPress.com, an independent English-language media about Ukraine, will hire a full-time head of SMM. Your task will be to work with the team to expand Euromaidan Press’ reach and presence in social media, finding creative solutions to reach new audiences.
What we require:
- English level at least C1, ability to clearly express thoughts in English. Excellent knowledge of Ukrainian;
- A passion for SMM and communication;
- An unstoppable desire to get Ukraine’s message out there into the world;
- Good knowledge of the military/political/social situation in and around Ukraine;
- An understanding of how communicating with international audiences differs from Ukrainian audiences;
- Knowledge of journalistic standards, experience working in media;
- Experience working on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, as well as a desire to learn about new platforms;
- Ability to work with KPIs and find creative solutions to reach new audiences;
- Fact-checking and critical thinking as a reflex;
- The skill of separating the wheat from the chaff;
