An Israeli-Ukrainian Entrepreneurship Forum will take place in in Tel Aviv on 14-15 December 2016. The Forum offers a new focus for research on the challenges of meeting Israeli-Ukrainian business demands for the sustainable development.
The purpose of the Forum is to create conditions for a potential partnership in different spheres of business, get acquainted with trends and market development, search and attraction of investments, the experience of creating innovative projects between two countries.
The Forum will aim to build a permanent platform for active cooperation between the various organizations representing Israel and Ukraine, and will aim to launch an international professional network, the “Israeli-Ukrainian Alliance.” This platform is designed to provide opportunities for business organizations of all types and sizes for cooperation in Israel and in Ukraine by engaging Israeli and Ukrainian diaspora all over the world.
“The main task of the Forum is to form a business community and create favorable conditions for creating and developing new projects in the business area, as well as in the field of social entrepreneurship,” Anna Zharova, co-founder of Israeli Friends of Ukraine, one of the co-organizers of the event, explained.
The two-day program of the Forum will include plenary sessions, roundtables, and networking between leading international speakers and experts in numerous business areas. A series of private business networking sessions are also envisioned.
Participants of the event will have a chance to contribute to the roadmap of Israeli–Ukrainian business cooperation under the framework of the Free Trade Agreement to be adopted between Israel and Ukraine; meet key business players and decision makers shaping the concept of the Israeli-Ukrainian Entrepreneurship Hub; and connect with leading personalities and thought leaders from politics, business and society in Israel and Ukraine. The Forum will cover the following sectors: IT, agriculture, medicine, energy, eco-technologies, tourism, and exports.
The event is organized by NGO Israeli Friends of Ukraine (Israel) and is already supported by the Ukrainian Jewish Encounter, the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel, Global Ukraine (Ukraine), IUA , WNISEF, Stairway Soft and other partners.
The Forum will be run in partnership with JSCapital, IT-Business Week, A7Group, Startup Ukraine , Digital Ukraine, UVCA, Ukraine-Israel Business Council, Tech Cluster, and many others.
