Young father from Dnipropetrovsk (Ukraine) needs your help for his cancer surgery in Israel

34-year-old Taras from Dnipropetrovsk needs expensive operations abroad to cure cancer. The correspondent of LB.ua, who  has known Taras personally for many years, appealed to journalists and media to disseminate information. His family is grateful to everyone who helps, and ask for renewed fundraising.

This young Ukrainian family from Dnipropetrovsk seeks sponsors among private enterprises to pay for an emergency transplantation. It must be done before the next relapse.

Musaieva Simnara Oktaievna (Taras’s wife) posted on Facebook:

In January 2014  my husband (Sauta Taras E., 33 y.o.) received an acute leukemia diagnosis, monoblast variation (С 93.0). They call it blood cancer, in other words.

Since then, our life has become a struggle for survival. We believe that CANCER is not a death-sentence; it’s just another life challenge that we need to overcome.

We started treatment and after the first course of chemo we’ve reached remission. The first course of chemotherapy was followed by three more, two of which were high-dose, intended to secure the effect of remission. Nobody knew what the effect would look like, whether his body  was strong enough to bear all this, but everyone hoped for the best outcome. Before the last course of high-dose chemotherapy we bought everything necessary for our baby and my husband said he would do his best to get everything done before the birth of his son. And so it happened. A positive remission had consolidated. Our life was full of bright colours again: my husband’s recovery and the birth of a son brought all the joy back.

But then, January brought us a relapse, so there were again the hospital, acute leukemia diagnosis, monoblast variation (93.0 C). But this time his body might not be strong enough to withstand another chemotherapy course.

Urgent surgery is required, an allogenic bone marrow transplantation from a donor. Such kind of surgery is not performed in Ukraine, which was verified by medical report signed by the head physician of the Kyiv Center for bone marrow transplantation.

I’m begging  you not to remain indifferent. We are badly in need of help.

The cost of treatment exceeds 162,038 dollars. We are limited in time, but if each and every person does not remain indifferent and responds, we will be able to collect the required sum! Each hryvnia is very much appreciated, as it will help!
