Even though this photograph is very symbolic of the modern Ukrainian realities, this isn’t an anti-war art project or a memorial alley, at least not yet. The picture has been taken at the firing field of Ukraine’s 97th artillery brigade. It’s a walkway paved with artillery shells. As April showers are destroying gravel roads and dirt roads, sometimes the only way not to track mud everywhere your’e going is to walk over these discharged cannon shells.
