January 17 – Buses and self-load trucks will not be allowed to travel to/from areas of the so called Luhansk People’s Republic and the areas of Luhansk oblast in unoccupied Ukraine starting January 19th, – stated the Head of Luhansk Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal. “The prohibition comes as a result of a worsening military situation and constant shelling of our territory by the terrorists, which leads to deaths among civilians”. January 17 – As a result of terrorist attacks, 42 villages/cities in 6 rayons of Donetsk oblast are currently without power, as well as parts of Donetsk, Horlivka and Avdiivka, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko. January 17 – Weapons, ammunition and food were delivered to Ukrainian military positions at Donetsk airport during the night. Uninterrupted communication is provided for airport defenders and fire support units that are firing at the manpower and equipment of the militants, – informs General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces. Fierce battle was taking place at Donetsk airport thought the day. ATO forces have made their way to the defenders of Donetsk airport and started evacuating the wounded (firstly, they are evacuating those who have been heavily wounded). 23 wounded Ukrainian military and the bodies of 3 military were evacuated from Donetsk airport. The terrorists are intensively shelling the positions of Ukrainian troops located in the villages near the airport. According to him, on the Crimean peninsula, there are arrests and persecution of Crimean Tatars going on. He claims that 10,000 Crimean Tatars were forced to leave Crimea and to escape to

    Ukraine's mainland. Kyslytsia appealed to the U.N., and in particular, to the U.N.Council on Human Rights "not to permit Russia to trnsform Crimea into an isolated army camp, and its residents into prisoners."

    March 2 – In the last 24 hours Russian terrorists have fired at ATO position 32 times, – said Head of the Press Center of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Seleznyov. ATO spokesman Anatoliy Stelmakh has also stated that the militants used artillery and mortars 14 times (the weapons that should have been withdrawn).

    January 19: Two battalion task forces of the Russian Federation have crossed Ukrainian-Russian border

    January 19 – 3 Ukrainian military were killed and 66 were wounded in the ATO area in the last 24 hours, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko.

    January 19 – The representatives of the United States Army Command will visit Ukraine this week, – informed the spokesman of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Vladyslav Seleznyov. According to Seleznyov, they intend to assess the situation in eastern Ukraine, as well as discuss assistance required by Ukrainian Armed Forces.

    January 19 – Ukraine and Poland have agreed to construct a new gas pipeline on their border – said Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk after a meeting with Prime Minister of Poland Ewa Kopacz.

    January 19 – At a joint press conference with Prime Minister of Poland Ewa Kopacz in Kyiv, Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk had stated that Russian servicemen and military equipment have entered Ukraine. "I have just spoken with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. According to Yatsenyuk, military equipment can only belong to regular Russian Army. We are witnessing blatant Russian aggression, similar to what happened in August 2014.
