January 11 – 6 wounded Ukrainian military were evacuated from Donetsk airport; ammunition and food was delivered – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko. January 11 – President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko was invited to participate in the Munich Security Conference, – said the Chairman of the event Wolfgang Ischinger. Two themes will dominate the discussions: Ukrainian crisis and the rise of Islamic extremism. Entire second day of the event will be dedicated to Ukrainian. January 11 – All who attempt to use money which was stolen by fighters inoccuppied Donbas from the banks which have been captured, will be apprehended as commiters of robbery – stated RNBO Secretary Oleksandr Turchynov. According to him, bank institutions which could not manage to move out of the occuppied territory the full amount of cash held there, ruined them by a special paint which cannot be cleaned off. “Regardless of this, the terrorists started to use the stolen tinted money for their own purposes as well as to settle their accounts with the residents. Stealing and using the stolen as one’s own property is a typical method of acting among the Russian terrorist groups, added Turchynov. “We warn the inhabitants, that no Ukrainian bank institution will accept tinted stolen money. All who will try to use this money, stolen by the terrorists, will be apprehended and detained as participants of the crime of robbery,”stated RNBO Secretary.     January 14 – On January 13th, the militants have used 220mm heavy flamethrower system TOS-1 "Buratino" for the first time since the armed conflict began. "Buratino" opened fire at the outskirts of Vesele village. "Buratino" systems have been transported from Russia. These weapons are prohibited by the international community. This was stated by the head of Gasprom, Oleksiy Miller during the first visit to Russia of the new Vice-Chairman of the Eurocommission on Energy, Marosha Shefhovych chovych. Miller related to Shefchovych the new position under consideration by the Russian side: the Ukrainian transit route will be transferred to Turkey and Europe should hurry to build appropritae gas transportable pipes in order to receive this gas in a new location which will be the point of release and delivery of the gas on the border of Turkey and Greece. Miller again affirmed that the project "Southern Stream" is closed. "The Gas flow Turkish Stream is the only route through which one can deliver 63 million cubic meters of Russian gas which are untill now still being transited through Ukraine. There are no other possibilities. Our European partners are informed about this and now their task is to create a necessary gas-transportation infrastructure from the border of Turkey and Greece," he stated.

    Shefrovych in his turn stated that the decision of Gasprom evokes a reaction of surprise on the part of the ound outEurocommission: "Today we discovered that that gas which is transported through Ukraine – that amount will re-directed through a new pipe system. This concerns relatively large quantities of gas, which, certainly, are not needed neither in Turkey, nor in countries of South-Easter Europe," he told the journalists.
