Latest data from “Information Resistance” group:

During the past weekend (06-07.12.2014) the process of re-equipment of those who in the last few days have suffered losses, namely formations made up of local militias and those who are Russian troops but are masked as locals in the occupied territory of Donbas have been recorded. This re-equipment is, in the main, taking place through the transfer of Russian mercenaries and contract soldiers from the Russian Federation’s army from task forces deployed to the border.

The strengthening of gangs and Russian forces with artillery components continues. During the last two days at least 2 divisions of cannon artillery (152-mm howitzer “MSTA-B”, 122-mm howitzer D-30) have arrived in the occupied areas of the Donbas region. In addition, the accumulation of ammunition and arrival of other supplies from Russia is continuing at an increasing rate.
Due to significant losses Special Forces units of the Armed Forces units are being moved to Donbas.
Special Internal Troops of the Interior Ministry. Special forces soldiers of the Russia Interior Ministry that have been Identified:
– 7th special forces “Rosich” unit (Novocherkassk)
– 15th Special Forces “Vyatich” unit (Armavir)
– 17th Special Forces “Edelweiss” (Mineral Waters)
– 107th Brigade of the Interior Ministry (Vladivostok).

Due to losses sustained by the combined battalion tactical group (BTG) of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation, formed from two mechanized infantry brigades district, this BTG has been moved away from advanced positions in the area of Dokuchayevsk for re-equipping and replenishment in the second tier in the area of Starobeshevo-Kuteynikovo. The total losses of the BTG (irrecoverable and sanitation) reached a quarter of the original list.

In some settlements of Donbas (Torez, Rovenki, Snizhne, Krasniy Luch) terrorists continue to carry out “mobilization activities” in the so-called “army of Novorossiya”. These “events” are held by armed militants at a number of mines in the region and by force. The total number of “mobilized” local residents in recent days totals at least 30 people.

On Saturday 06.12 the enemy attempted to advance on the position of Ukrainian troops south of Avdiivka. Attempts to accompany such advances with cannon artillery fire have been noted. After applying two consecutive fire strikes with Grad rocket launchers, the enemy was first stopped, and then withdrew to the area around the settlement of Yasinuvata.

Fierce fighting around Donetsk airport continued. The building of the old terminal was virtually destroyed on Sunday 07.12 and found itself in the neutral zone being shot at by both sides. On Sunday night, the enemy once again struck a powerful blow against Ukrainian Cyborg troops using artillery. Ukrainian troops used artillery to strike back at the starting positions of the enemy in Putilovka and in the Kubyshev district of Donetsk.

In the area around the settlement of Volnovakha a counter-battery duel continued over the weekend. Ultimately, Ukrainian artillery fire strikes forced the enemy to leave advanced firing positions and pull their artillery units back to Yelenovka and Dokuchayivk.

In the area around the settlements of Tryokhizbenka, Shchastia and Stanytsia Luhanska the enemy continues to deliver massive fire strikes against the positions of Ukrainian troops. The bridge near Shchastya continues to be held by Ukrainian troops. The enemy is mainly using cannon artillery (at least 3 batteries, one of them – ACS), as well as mortars and MLRS.

The enemy continues to pound the settlement of Debaltsevo hard. During the last two days powerful attacks from conventional and rocket artillery from the direction of Uhlehirsk, Makiivka, and Chernukhinskiy have been seen. Firing from mortars and howitzers at the settlement of Nikishino has also been seen.

Among the remaining militants still in Horlivka (Donetsk Region) Bezler who have been enrolled in the new gang, the so-called “army of Novorossiya”, there are persistent rumors about actions by “a liquidation team from the Security Service of Ukraine.” According to the militants, the Horlivka database has fallen into the hands of the Security Service of Ukraine, and now employees of the Ukrainian special services, abandoned in the occupied territory, are methodically catching or eliminating the remaining «Bezler fighters.” Meanwhile, in the course of the last week three former commanders of Bezler gangs have been found dead with clear signs of a violent death and at least another two are missing.
