The Ukrainian segment of Facebook is still under administration by Moscow management

The National Council for Television and Radio Communication asked Mark Zuckerberg to replace the administrator of the Ukrainian segment of Facebook because of instances when violations of the social network’s rules and propaganda went ignored.

Apparently, the Ukrainian segment of Facebook is still administrated by management in Moscow; during the Russian-Ukrainian conflict the issue became quite pertinent: the administration of the social network ignored complaints regarding propagandist and shocking content, which was shared by Russian users, and frequently blocked popular Ukrainian users.

As Chairman of the National Council Yury Artemenko stated at a press conference, the members of the Council wrote an open letter to Zuckerberg, in which they asked to immediately take action and replace the management with a Ukrainian one. He also added that the list would be given to Zuckerberg personally with the cooperation of the US Ambassador in Ukraine.
