O. Turchynov: Russia’s “humanitarian aid” are tanks, missile launch systems and weapons used to destroy Ukrainians

Russia wants to establish a corridor to supply terrorist with tanks, missile launch systems and weapons to destroy Ukrainian citizens under the guise of humanitarian assistance.

This was stated by the Head of the Ukrainian Parliament Oleksandr Turchynov when responding to the questions of the journalists at the joint press conference of parliament speakers of NB-8 countries in the town of Palanga (Lithuania) on Monday.

According to Turchynov, the representatives of Russia, speculating even on humanitarian aid, are resorting to provocations. He explained that the Russian humanitarian convoy is “fake, the majority of which constitutes water and salt.” “There are no problems with water in the East, and the most salt in Europe is extracted in Donetsk oblast, in Artemivsk,” said he.

The head of the Parliament emphasized that the format of “humanitarian assistance” offered by Russia does not account for the problems of the East, but is created exclusively to supply weapons to the mercenaries. “This is the format of their humanitarian aid. It is aid for death,” he concluded, adding that Russia will be unable to hide its aggression with this “fig leaf.”
