January 13 – The Ukrainian soldiers who are defending the destroyed Donetsk airport, were given the next ultimatum by the Russian terrorists. The Ukrainian army gave them artillery support – it shot at the positions of the Russians. "The terminal which we are defending, has been totally

shot through. But we are not going anywhere. We are not planning to retreat. We are being destroyed by heavy shelling for three days. There is nothing more left here. We are awaiting support," informed one of the Ukrainian soldiers. During a 24-hour period in the Donetsk Airport, six soldiers were wounded. All of them were evacuated.

January 13 – On Wednesday, President Petro Poroshenko will sign an order about the next round of the draft to the Ukrainian Army.

January 13 – Ukraine will increase limiting movement across the line, on whose other side are found regions of Donbas which are under the controll of the fighters. This is included in the statement of President Petro Poroshenko regarding the tragedy in Volnovakh. January 4 – No Ukrainian military have died, three were wounded in the ATO area in last 24 hours, said deputy NSDC spokesman Volodymyr Polevyi.

January 4 – Militants in Donetsk have again announced curfew restrictions (these were cancelled for new year holidays). The residents have been warned to carry a passport with them at all times and not to walk the streets of Donetsk after 10 pm.

January 4 – Situation in the ATO area (Donetsk direction) has significantly deteriorated during the day – illegal armed groups have carried out 22 attacks on Ukrainian military positions.

January 4 – Someone has tried to set fire to the office of Kherson Charity Foundation "Zakhyst" (community organization supporting the army). The incident is one in a series of attacks on charities and organizations of volunteers supporting Ukrainian Armed Forces in many cities of Ukraine.

This is verified by the results of a sociologigal research which was conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology.

The degree of patriotism decreases moving from West to East, if one examines the situation by regions: West (94.0%), Central (98.1%),South (93.3%), East (81.5%). Overall, Kherson and Halychyna scored "zero". Its answer to Nikita Makhalkov was also provided by the "eternally Russian" city of Odesa – 0.0%.

Analagous figures were elicited by the question whether the citizens would want their region to separate from Ukraine, but to remain independent and not to unite with Russia. Only 2.6% want the independence of their region.

February 25 – 75 military from the UK will be deployed to Ukraine in the upcoming weeks to train Ukrainian military, – saidPrime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron.

Russian "Gazprom" would like to supply gas directly to Donbas and to force Ukraine to pay for it – this is what business Russian style looks like.

February 25 – Moscow City Court decided to leave Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko in custody until May 13th (Savchenko was abducted from Ukraine). She has been on hunger strike for 75 days. Ukrainian pilot Nadiya Savchenko made a speech during the trial in Moscow. "Deceitful bastards from the Investigative Committee are keeping me here illegally and are forcing me to starve", – she said.

February 25 – Ukrainian hryvnia has slightly strengthened after its dramatic decrease in value on Monday-Tuesday. The Government and the National Bank have limited the purchase of foreign currency and introduced a number of restrictions that eased the "currency rush". National Bank Chairman and Finance Minister have held a press conference and described the steps that will be taken. The Ministry of Finance does not intend to review the average exchange rate of hryvnia (21.7 UAH to 1 USD), which was used to prepare the amendments to 2015 state budget.

The retreat of pro-Russian terrorists near the town of Vuhlehirsk was stalled by barrier troops of the Dzerzhinsky Division of Russian Interior Ministry, – informed NSDC spokesman Andriy Lysenko.

February 3 – ATO press center informs that after another Putin's "humanitarian aid convoy" has arrived in Ukraine, the number of attacks and their intensity has increased again, said ATO spokesman Olekdsandr Motuzyanyk. "After another convoy arrived from Russia, the number of attacks and their intensity has intensified significantly. That is to say that they [the militants and regular troops] basically received the ammunition they needed. Otherwise a question arises – where do the militants get so much ammunition from if they are able to continue attacks almost around the clock".
