RNBO: Ukrainian forces liberate four cities over July 5-6

RNBO: Ukrainian forces liberate four cities over July 5-6

Over the last 24 hours, ATO forces have liberated four cities in Donbas: Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Druzhkivka, Kostyantynivka. The State flag has been raised above the city councils. The main efforts of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at present are to destroy terrorist training bases, checkpoints, to regain control of the state border and to isolate the conflict zone. The offensive tactics of ATO forces have led to significant losses among the gangs of Kremlin-backed militants and places psychological pressure on the terrorists, leading to armed conflicts between them. In particular, cases of infighting between terrorist gangs have been registered today in Chervonopartyzansk of the Luhansk Oblast. Purportedly, the reason for the fight was due to a disagreement whether to surrender or keep fighting.

The President of Ukraine said that a unilateral cease-fire will not take place. It can happen only if the militants surrender arms, release prisoners and hostages, and restore the Ukrainian-Russian border with the participation of observers.

Overall, the illegal armed groups committed four attacks on checkpoints and positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – under Raihorodok, Chervona Zoria, Provallia, Sloviansk. All attacks were thwarted. 12 Ukrainian soldiers were wounded over the last 24 hours. Fortunately, no Vnaslidok warfare during the last day 12 Ukrainian soldiers were wounded. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
