Russia will decrease Crimea’s financing to 18.2 billion dollars

The Russian Ministry for Crimea finished the development of the federal directive program for the development of the peninsula and will send it today to the Russian Ministry for Economical development to propose it to the government, reported the deputy Minister of Crimean Affairs Andrey Sokolov to RBC.

As the head of the Russian Ministry for Regions Igor Sliunyayev, in the end draft of the program the prescribed financing has been decreased to 18,2 billion USD until 2020 as opposed to the 29,4 billion USD the Ministries requested earlier.

What will be sacrificed to decrease expenses as opposed to the first drags, the head of the Russian Ministry of the region did not say. However the governors are going to save on the most expensive Crimean project as well, the construction of the Kerch bridge. The financing for this project is planned “according to an economical scenario,” Sliunyayev told the journalists.
