Kolomoysky funds military equipment in Dnipropetrovsk

The head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Administration Ihor Kolomoysky has funded fuel for army units that make up the Southern Operational Command. This was announced by Kolomoysky’s deputy Boris Filatov during a press conference on Friday, reports Interfax-Ukraine. Filatov did not specify the amount spent on fuel by Kolomoysky, but states that the “sum is enormous.”

The commander of the Dnipropetrovsk headquarters of National Defense Yuriy Bereza reported that thanks to Kolomoysky’s donation,  all units of the Southern Operational Command have been provided with 50% of needed fuel. “The Military units in Dnipropetrovsk and Kherson oblasts have received 100% of fuel provisions,” he said.

He also noted that non-government organizations, businessmen and the State Administration are planning by buy at least 5000 sets of body armor by March 16. “This body armor provides a high degree of protection, including the supplies from Bundeswehr warehouses,” Bereza said.
